The Giver Book Summary By Lois Lowry

The Giver is a fascinating and moral story about a young man named Jonas who lives in a society free of guilt and misery. By age 12, children are given tasks to train and perform for the rest of their lives. Everything is selected. From parents to partners. When chosen as the new “memory keeper,” Jonas stands out among the community. Society has been protected from all the negative aspects of life since the time of its creation, as there are people who carry both good and bad memories of the past. This is both good and bad for the residents. Because when they are spared from harm, they are not aware of the wonderful aspects of life.

The Giver Pdf Summary By Lois Lowry

I really liked this book because it’s more like a fairy tale book than a book for teens, but the complexity of the story may attract older readers. I really liked Jonas as a character because it’s great to see Jonas grow from a scared kid to someone who’s willing to risk his future to save the community. This book shows you the path of development. Accepting new responsibilities is scary at first, but as you get used to it, you’ll want to move away from your childhood.
